Beliefs
Our essential beliefs form the foundation of our fellowship.
While Christians may differ on secondary matters, these core truths of Christianity are non-negotiable.
THE TRIUNE GOD
We believe in one God eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit.
(Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
JESUS
We believe Jesus is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, sinless in life, who died for our sins, rose again, and will return to reign forever. (John 1:1–14;
1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:11)
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in believers, empowering them for godly living, spiritual growth, and service.
(Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–23)
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God, the final source of truth for all we believe and how we live.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105)
MAN
Man was created in God’s image (Genesis 1:26), but through disobedience, Adam and Eve brought sin into the world (Genesis 3:6). As a result, humanity was separated from God, came under the curse of sin, and experienced both physical and spiritual death (Genesis 3:14–19; Romans 5:12–19; Romans 3:23). Our only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God
(Romans 5:12–21).
SALVATION
We believe salvation is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by works.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10)
THE CHURCH
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to a life of worship, discipleship, service, and the spreading of the Gospel to the world.
(Ephesians 4:11–13; Matthew 28:19–20)
COMMUNION
We believe the Lord’s Supper is a sacred act of worship, remembering Christ’s sacrifice and proclaiming His death until He returns. It is a time for believers to examine their hearts, give thanks, and renew their commitment to Him.
(1 Corinthians 11:23–26; Luke 22:19–20)
WATER BAPTISM
We believe water baptism is an outward expression of an inward faith in Jesus Christ. It symbolizes our death to sin, new life in Christ, and public identification with Him.
(Matthew 28:19–20; Romans 6:3–4)
THE COVENANT OF MARRIAGE
We believe God created marriage to be a covenant relationship between one man and one woman. Sexual intimacy is a gift from God to be enjoyed only within this covenant.
(Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; Romans 1:26–27)
ETERNITY
We believe in eternal life with God for believers and eternal separation from God for those who reject Christ.
(John 3:16; Revelation 20:11–15)
